Sunday Post #34

• I know I haven't been around for the past few weeks, but that's only because I didn't have internet access. But I am back and I am trying to get posts scheduled so that I still have stuff going up when school starts (we all know how terrible I am at blogging during the school year).
• I'm back in Arkansas, which means I'm not in Florida anymore which is devastating, but I had a wonderful time! I got to spend so much quality time with my brother and sister and it broke my heart to leave, but it's time to get back to the real world. I move into my new apartment TOMORROW with my best friend. It's crazy. This will be the first time I'm living in an off-campus place and paying bills.
• It's shaping up to be a tough semester, with getting everything in order for grad school (which includes taking the GRE) and preparing for my semester abroad, along with all the other responsibilities I'll have (I got a job in my school's English department and I write for the school newspaper (hoping they'll start paying me) and I'm the philanthropy chair for my sorority). So. Yeah. It's gonna get crazy very quickly.
• THAT SAID: I AM ON THE LOOK OUT FOR A CO-BLOGGER, SO IF YOU''RE INTERESTED FEEL FREE TO COMMENT DOWN BELOW OR EMAIL ME AT LEFTYREADS21@GMAIL.COM OR HIT ME UP ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

Sunday Post #33

• I'm done with work!!!! Thursday was my last day and it feels WONDERFUL to be done. The waitressing life is not the life for me. Of course, I wanted to make some money while I still could so Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week I worked 12-hour shifts and it really truly exhausted me (hence why the blog wasn't particularly poppin' this week).
• I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe 4th of July (if you celebrate it). My dad came to visit (which meant I had to clean my entire apartment) and he made breakfast and dinner and we mostly just relaxed. It was a good day! To be honest, I don't care that much about 4th of July so it was nice to just have good food and good laziness.
• I LEAVE FOR FLORIDA TOMORROW! I am so so so excited. I'll be staying with my sister for 3 weeks, hanging out by the pool, and living my absolute best life.

Sunday Post #31

• I had such an excellent week, friends! Aside from working and the occasional gallivanting with friends, some exciting things happened.
• Firstly, I bought my plane ticket to Florida for the last 3 weeks of July. I'm so excited to spend time with my siblings and also spend SO MUCH TIME at the beach/by the pool.
• Also, this week I found out Hippo Campus, a band I absolutely adore, is having a concert near me in October and my friend and I are planning on going. I'm so so so pumped. This news had me buzzing for days.
• And finally, I should have some exciting book mail coming my way in the next few weeks, and just knowing what's headed my way makes me so happy.

Sunday Post #29

• I hope everyone had a great memorial day! Luckily the restaurant I work at shut down so I had the day off to swim with my friend, watch some TV, and do a little bit of painting. I've been feeling crafty lately, so I've been painting canvases (even though I am not a good artist at all).
• Aside from that, I've basically just spent my life working. I'm actually typing this up at work right now hah! So far, my money-saving endeavors are going well, but it has only been a couple weeks. Stay tuned to see if I actually manage to save anything this summer.
• ALSO, I finally filmed a couple videos to get back into BookTube, which is super exciting! I haven't finished editing the first one yet, but I WILL. Hopefully by next week's Sunday Post I'll be able to start giving y'all updates on my booktube and bookstagram posts.
